On the summit of the Aiguille Blanche de Peuterey.

My name is Ben and I moved to Chamonix in 2006 to follow my passion for skiing. Initially a free-rider, I quickly grew an interest in steep skiing and alpinism.

To date I have skied over 50 extreme ski descents around the alps including many rarely skied test pieces. I have become known for making integral descents of routes which previously required rappels and am now focusing on skiing big mountains in a style rarely attempted; fast and fluid.

My aspiration is to take this free-ride style of steep skiing to the greater ranges on expedition. Pushing the boundaries of where it is possible to ski.

As well as skiing I enjoy climbing, trail running and road biking, which may make the odd appearance on the blog.

I  hope you enjoy reading about my adventures, and they inspire you for some of your own.

Hi Ben , which ski is more polyvalent for you , the bond-x or the response – X ?? I practise ski-touring regularly and have good level skiing ( not expert ). I`m 1,77 m tall and weight 78 kg
